I am a proud Oak Bay community member, neighbour, and parent. My parents, brothers and I have called Oak Bay home for 25 years. For the past ten years my husband and I have actively parented our two children in Oak Bay, while building our professional careers in the public service and non-profit sectors.

I am a University of Victoria alumna with a 22-year career in language education. For over two decades, I have helped children and adults build literacy and language skills through my work in education and the non-profit sector. I started my language education teaching in Spain (Madrid), then moving to Korea, before returning to Canada where I’ve been happily working for the past nine years in south Vancouver Island.

My dedication, hard work, and passion for working with people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities in the literacy and language sector is the reason why I’m the right candidate to work on your Oak Bay Council.
